Q: 1 Does the Media make or Mar ?

           

Mass – media is the subject of  modern time. It doesn't mean that in Ancient time has not media, but that is different type of media. That time media doesn’t effect properly to society.  But nowadays media effect the society. “ Every coin has two sides” same way media has two side. Media is helpful to society or also  harmful for  society. It is true that media effect positively.

        First let’s discuss the positively side means how media make  the society. Many cases media play a vital role in creating awareness in society. Media aware the the people about the current issues and other important things. Media build the truth and fact in society. For example:

Our Government used the media to give the information about our basic rights and other important things. All the things happen because of media.  

 Now let’s discuss the negative  side of media.

             Media also play negative role for society. Some time they are trying to hide the real things because they do all the things because  some time they take the bribe or some time they have pressurized  by powerful authority.

For example :

Akash Ambani’s case. In this case they denied that they publish in news. They say that this accident done bye his driver. So this is wrong , it is against the ethics , but they do because of power position . some time they manipulate the human mind.

 Media always trying to balance between  ethics and power.

Q : 2  Advertisement is involved in the Social Production of Consumers explain.

Advertisement is the part of production. And production is related with commercial world. We see the different kind of advertisement like comic ads,  emotional ads , social awareness ads. All ads are related with society and particular class.

Advertisement as we usually understand it in contemporary society, is process of persuading mass audience through the mass media. Advertising bound by laws , but it also is tempered by ethical responsibility and the cannons of good taste. You can act unethically without breaking any laws, but the community may impose its own informal sanctions for such violations.

               Advertisement is kind of way to attract the consumer to buy their products. Because of their product selling they divided the consumer group and follow this division they make the advertisement like for children , teenagers , housewife etc.

              But here we discuss how the advertisement are involved in social production. They made that type of advertisement , which is related with humans being’s social life. Advertisement maker know this thing and so they very dramatically deal with this situation.

        Because they know that emotions are valuable in our society. So in their advertisement  they deal with social production. This natural or social setting , garden , home , a party attended by sophisticated people.
